Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Upon arrival you will be met by our company driver representative who will welcome you, after which he will Transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park in the southwestern corner of Uganda, the Journey to arrive at the destination is approximately 9-hour drive via the Kampala Masaka highway. You will have a stop at the equator for a brief breakfast, and then continue to the southern hemisphere with a stop over for lunch en-route in Mbarara town. You shall be arriving at the destination in the evening for relaxation, dinner and stay overnight at Buhoma lodge (Luxury)
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
The second day of your amazing 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Uganda will kick off with an early morning breakfast, after which your driver guide will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters for your long waited gorilla trekking experience. You shall begin with a short morning briefing about the DOs and DONTs while with the gorillas, our guide will help you register at the park office, later you will be assigned a gorilla family to track as well as give you a group to move with – led by the park ranger. The armed park ranger will then guide and protect you through the forest until you get to see the assigned gorilla family. Upon reaching the gorilla habitat, a maximum of one hour is allowed to spend while with the Gorillas. You will get to see them closer as they eat, play and go on with their lives in the mighty jungle. It is a such breath taking experience that any safari enthusiast would really long to have. You are always advised to stay calm while around these animals, and you will also be allowed to take photos of the gorillas. While taking photos, camera shutter light and sound should always be off to avoid scaring these gorillas. Later, you will return to your Lodge and prepare to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Uganda’s deepest Lake. Here, you will be welcomed by a cool ambiance, check in, relax and have a Canoe ride along the islands in the afternoon which is quite more relaxing. Day 3: Departure to Entebbe international airport
The next morning, you shall have breakfast, meet up with your driver guide who will help you check out of your residence, after which he will transfer you back to Kampala, then Entebbe Airport. Expect en-route stopovers in Mbarara for lunch, and at the equator as you head to return for your international flight. This will be ending your 3 days gorilla trekking safari Uganda.
