Our 3 days Congo trekking Safari offers a thrilling experience of the Mountain gorillas in the democratic republic of congo, visiting one of Africa’s oldest and first protected ecosystems, Virunga national park is home to Mountain Gorillas, gorilla beringei- beringei, they live freely within the national park and not in captivation, this is the only conservation area of Congo to find the Mountain gorillas, Virunga national park is special because of its remarkable biodiversity and Landscape. This gorilla trip will take you through Rwanda’s countryside and its Capital Kigali.

Tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at the Kigali international airport and Transfer to Goma

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will, brief you and start your Kigali city tour, visiting the Palace, and the Rwanda memorial genocide, later we will transfer to the Congo border for check-in, drive to the accommodation that has been booked for your dinner and staying overnight at the Kibumba tented camp

Day 2: Gorilla trekking.

Following breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters to begin your gorilla trekking experience, a briefing will be done by the park rangers about the does and don’ts while with the Mountain gorilla, you will be allocated a gorilla family group and led by the ranger to trek, it takes 2 or more hours finding the gorillas, trails are rewarding as you will get to experience the vegetation of the park, birds and on lucky day animals like elephants. After one hour you will return to the tracking point to meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight at Kibumba tented camp

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali

We will have something to warm our tummies after which we transfer to Kigali, cross the border through the beautiful mountains backdrops, arriving for your international flight back home.
