Our 3 days gorilla trekking from Rwanda begins and ends in Kigali, you will have the chance to visit Rwanda and Uganda on the same tour, the trip takes you to Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable national park, which is home to half the world’s population of mountain gorillas, the park is bisected into Four sectors each of which having habituated gorilla families for a client visit, you will be amazed by how much the forest has grown over time, it said to have lived from the ice age era and survived being torn apart from the movement  of tectonic plates, the tour begins and ends in Kigali

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

On arrival, you will be picked up by our company representative who will welcome you from Kigali international airport, depending on the time of your arrival, you will have a brief Kigali city tour, visiting the local market, the Kigali Museum, Rwanda genocide, we will later transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park Via the Cyanika border, arriving in approximately 4 hours’ time for dinner and staying overnight at Bakiga lodge. Meal plan: Full board                          

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience

We will have an early morning breakfast after which transfer to the park headquarters for the Gorilla trekking experience, briefing from the park rangers of the Uganda wildlife authority, trekking gorillas is done in groups of eight, an hour is allowed to be with the gorillas while observing the park rules and regulations, trekking time depends on how far the gorillas have moved. Returning for a meal and entertainment from the Batwa cultural group. Accommodation: Bakiga lodge: Meal plan: Full board

Day 3: Departure 

Following breakfast, you will return to Rwanda through its countryside, exploring the beautiful scenery en route to catch your international flight at the Kigali international airport.
