Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On the 1st day of your Uganda gorilla safari, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala and transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is located in western Uganda.
During your journey to the park, you will make a stopover at the equator for your equator experience and perhaps some photography if you wish.
After lunch, you will proceed to Mbarara town for lunch, and then you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park, arriving at the park around late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 2: Game Drive & Launch Cruise in Queen Elizabeth N.P
Wake up in the morning and you will be served with breakfast at the lodge and go for a morning game drive. During a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have the chance to witness many species of wildlife including African elephants, buffalos, antelopes, impalas, among others, as well as a variety of birds.
Return to the lodge relax a bit and enjoy your lunch. After lunch, you can go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel inside Queen Elizabeth Park, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, a variety of birds around the bay, and other aquatic life that you can see up close throughout your trip. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha sector
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will leave the Queen Elizabeth National Park and head southwest to the Ishasha Sector in order to search for tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see many of these animals lounging on trees and enjoying the sun as you explore this sector to thrill while on a Uganda Gorilla Safari.
Continue to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park where you are expected to arrive in the evening. After checking into your hotel, you will be able to unwind and enjoy the evening as well as your overnight stay
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Before embarking on your gorilla trek into the forest, you will need to have breakfast early in the morning and then go to the park headquarters for your briefing by the ranger guides.
The best way to find gorillas is to trek through the forest until you find them. A gorilla trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours depending on how fast the gorillas are moving. Upon finding the gorillas in Bwindi National, you will only be allowed to stay for one hour, and then you will have to return. Upon your return to your hotel you will be taken back by your driver/guide so that you are able to relax and spend a second night there.
Day 5 : Daprture to Kampala
Following a leisurely morning breakfast, you will be transported back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch, arriving back in Kampala in the evening after a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel in Kampala or to the airport for your onward flight.
