Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe international airport
This 15 Days best of Uganda Safari begins in Entebbe upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to the accommodation that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight, Accommodation: The Boma Hotel (Luxury)
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
Early morning breakfast, after which we will drive to the Mabamba shoe bill tracking, the swamp is Uganda’s finest place to encounter birds, the critically endangered Shoebill stock has popular sitting at this Ramser site, the Canoe ride will take approximately 2 hours after which we will return to have a brunch, then Transfer to Uganda’s closest conservation area Lake Mburo national park, arriving for an evening check in at the lodge and relaxation at Mihingo lodge(Luxury)
Day 3: Game drive and Boat cruise
We will have something to eat and then head to the inside park in search of animals, the presence of a vast ecosystem in Lake Mburo gives it the opportunity to have a variety of species, despite the park having a bad history of animal community conflict, it was gazette and most of the park issues resolved, some animals like Lions were re-introduced(Rarely seen) and the Roth child giraffes, on game drive expect to see loads of Zebras, elands, topi, kobs, oribi, African Buffaloes, elephants, baboons, returning to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise to along the Lake Mburo expect to see Hippos, warthogs and crocodiles, overnight at dinner will be at Mihingo lodge(Luxury)
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Morning breakfast after which we will transfer to the home of Mountain gorillas, you will drive through the past rolling hills of Kabale, banana and tea plantations, arriving in Bwindi at the Buhoma sector, you will witness the thick dense forest, there is not much to do on this day apart from enjoying the serene environment, the forest is said to have survived the old geological movement of tectonic plates during the Ice Age period, you will have a relaxed evening and dinner at Buhoma Lodge( Luxury)
Day 5: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
Gorilla trekking is one of those things not to miss on an African Safari, after breakfast, our company representative will transfer you to the park headquarters for a short briefing before the start of the Uganda gorilla experience, you will be guided by the Uganda wildlife authority team, following a briefing in groups of eight, the trek begins, you can choose to have a walking stick or not, gorillas live freely in the wilderness, they love to eat most of the day and are herbivorous in nature feeding on plant, leaves, and stems, Gorillas are social and intelligent species, they live in families of up to 20 members led by a male silverback, meeting gorillas is for one hour, return to eat something and experience the keepers of the forest in the afternoon. Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Queen Elizabeth national park is among the best savannah park to visit in Uganda, its animal composition is a wonder, it is home to the tree climbing lions and if you are chanced on this day you will see them, we will pass via the Ishasha sector of the park, driving approximately for 4-5 hours, expect to spot a few animals here like the elephants, baboons, waterbucks, bushbucks, the dotted crater lakes of Queen Elizabeth national park staying overnight at Mweya safari lodge (Luxury)
Day 7: Game drives and Kazinga channel boat cruise
Morning breakfast, after which we will drive to the northern part of park in the Kasenyi plains, we will have an optional experiential lion tracking depending on your interest or head out to randomly look for them, other species to be spotted include the lions, buffaloes, giraffes, African elephants, warthogs, we return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, it is popular for its large concentration of hippos, animals gather at this point for drinking water and grazing so expect to see a variety. Day 8: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
We will have something to warm our tummies after which we transfer to the capital of primates, the park hosts 13 primate types but is popular for the Chimpanzee, it is the largest forest cover in Kabarole district with a variety of tree species rising up to 55m high, we arrive in for a hot lunch and an afternoon Chimpanzee tracking, it takes 2-3 hours following a briefing from the park rangers, we retire to a relaxed evening and stay overnight at Kyaninga Lodge (Luxury)
Day 9: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
Murchison falls National Park is located in the northern part of Uganda, bisected into tow by the Victoria Nile, it was named after the Might waterfall Murchison, the drive to the conservation area is an all-day one, spending most of the time enjoying the road trip, expect to have a lunch check-in en-route, arriving at the famous Murchison falls National Park for check in at the lodge and afternoon relaxation Para safari lodge (Luxury)
Day 10: Game drives and Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
We will have an early morning breakfast, after which head to the northern side of the park along the shores of the Nile and Lake Albert, the park animals concentrate a lot in the north as compared to the south, looking out for the early morning risers, especially the Cats, the come out at this time to hunt most of the time. Returning to the lodge for lunch, and an afternoon boat cruise along the Victoria Nile, expect to see Hippos, warthogs, and on a good day the lookout along the banks for the shoe bill. Day 11: Transfer to Jinja – “the Capital of Hidden Gem”
Morning breakfast after which we will transfer to Jinja Uganda’s industrial town, it is a tourism center having so many fun activities to do, we will stop over in Kampala city for lunch, and proceed our journey, Dinner and staying overnight at Jinja Nile resort (Luxury)
Day 12: Visit The source of the Nile and White water rafting
Following breakfast, you will head to the Jinja source of the Nile point, Take a boat cruise to the point of the source of the Nile, visit the Mahatma Gandhi monument, buy souvenirs from Craft shops around depending on your interest or an optional white water rafting activity. Day 13: Transfer to Kampala, City Tour Experience
Morning breakfast and transfer to Kampala city, you can take a short Kampala city tour by visiting touristic places like Uganda martyrs shrine Namugongo, Bahai temple, Kasubi tombs, Ugand anda museum, finally craft shops. Day 14: Mabamba swamp tour and visiting the Entebbe Botanical gardens
As we summarize our 15 Days Uganda safari, you will wake up to an early morning breakfast after which you transfer to the Mabamba Swamp / Mabamba Island, the canoe ride will present the beauty of the Swamp, Start of our 1 day Mabamba Swamp tour and you will spot the endangered shoe bills and a variety of species here toppled with the beauty surrounding, we will return to have a brunch and head to the Entebbe botanical gardens, if time allows you will visit the Victoria mall and we finish our day here, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight at The Boma Hotel(Luxury)
